An original adaptation of the famous domestic "Love Suicides" play series written by Japanese playwright Chikamatsu Mozaemon based on real sucide events of 1720. This collage production, created by writer Lee Breuer and designer Basil Twist, melds the strict traditions of authentic Japanese Bunraku puppet theatre with the modern day Japanese publishing sensation of Yaoi which features male to male sexually themed manga and anime. |
